Himari is a creative design engineer passionate about solving issues using Design×Technology×Creativity to bring out innovative outcomes which will make someone in the world smile.

She comes from a hardware engineering background having received her BS in Environment and Information degree from the University of Keio in Japan. Besides many internships and projects within the field of engineering and design, she worked at Apple in R&D before joining her master’s. She has obtained a double master’s degree in Innovation Design Engineering run jointly by the Royal College of Art and Imperial College London.

From being both a designer and engineer who has worked in a highly interdisciplinary and collaborative environment, she is willing to bridge the gap between design and engineering to achieve a high resolution output that will have value to our environment and society.
